| Tom Malafarina is a well known name throughout the Eastern PA. His original music can be heard internationally on a wide variety of terrestrial and internet radio programs as well as public and college radio stations. He can also often be heard on a variety of internet podcasts such as Raven N Blues from the UK., Murphy’s Saloon, Roadhouse Podcast, Bluz N Da Blood from the US and many others from many different countries. Tom performs his solo acoustic show at many area restaurants, coffee houses and cafés. It is the kind of music that will entertain patrons while allowing them to enjoy their conversations and food in a subdued listening-friendly environment. Tom also plays bass guitar and handles lead vocal duties with the Reading, PA based “Blues City Blues Band” (www.blues-city.com) and with the West Chester, PA based “Smokehouse Ramblers Acoustic Trio” (www. SmokehouseRamblers.com) . In 2006 the Smokehouse Ramblers released a solo CD called “Can’t Get Used To It” with many of Tom’s original tunes. In 2006, Tom put together a CD collection of some recordings of his original tunes called “Bluesman Tom and Friends”. In 2008 he released his second solo CD, called “Less Is More”. He is currently working on his third solo CD. Fall, 2009 plans are in the works for a second Smokehouse Ramblers CD as well as the first Blues City Blues band CD. |
